INVITATION TO BID

 

The City of Warrenton will receive sealed bids for Asbestos Abatement and Demolition of three structures within the city limits. Mary Ann Moseley, City Administrator, will accept bids at Warrenton City Hall, 29 Edward D Ricketson, Jr. St., PO Box 109 Warrenton, Georgia 30828 until May 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM local time at which time all bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Beginning April 22, 2021 copies of bid documents can be obtained by contacting the Project Manager, Linda D. Grijalva at 706-650-5694 or email lgrijalva@csrarc.ga.gov. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose names and addresses are on record as having obtained the bid documents.

Asbestos Abatement and Demolition work must be conducted pursuant to approved procedures and requirements of appropriate regulating agencies, and in full compliance with the laws and regulations of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the State of Georgia Department of Natural Resources Environmental Protection Division (DNR-EPD).  Bidders shall possess valid licensure as an Asbestos Contractor by the DNR-EPD.

After the opening of the bids, no bid can be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days. The City of Warrenton reserves the right to waive informalities or technical defects in the bids and to reject any and all bids in whole or part if it is deemed by the City to be in its best interest.
